Owning Ian Corbin Fisher: A Masterpiece of Suspense and Mystery

TMC Associate Broker Ian Douglas is a Kiwi who started sailing on the East Coast of New Zealand in 1973 when his new wife suggested he should get a hobby. Since then he has competed in many races, cruises and delivery`s on many different types of Yachts in many parts of the World. Moving to the UK in 1976, Ian worked for Jaguar Yachts UK at the Earls Court London Boat Show. The show was an outstanding success for Jaguar and Ian was appointed marketing manager for the Company. One of His Clients was setting up a new flotilla sailing holiday operation in Greece and asked Ian to play a role in this set up. Hundreds of yachts later, and enough stories to fill a book, Sailing Holidays is still the largest of it`s type in the World. Returning to NZ some years later, more racing, various roles in the marine industry, and a move to Australia saw Ian owning a successful Brokerage and Marina Management Company which he has now owned for 25 years.
